After Hong Kong actress Sonija Kwok's announcement of her marriage to martial arts choreography Chu Shao Jie on the island of guam on Oct 1 on her weibo, it was later discovered that the pair had already secretly registered their marriage in Hong Kong during April.

Fond of kids and getting on her years, the 37-year-old recently announced that she will be trying hard for a baby after her marriage.
At a shoot for Min Guo Enchou Lu in Shanghai earlier, the actress was spotted with a bloated tummy.

The actress denied news of pregnancy then, saying that it was just the safety pants which she had worn that made her look fat.
When Sonija went on Elaine Ng's talk show in Hong Kong at the end of last month, she was pressed by the host about her baby-making plans.

Sonija laughed and replied, "I will tell everybody if there's any good news. We're just going with the flow."
However, according to an insider, Sonija is already two months pregnant.
Worried that sharing the news before the three months mark would lead to a miscarriage (according to age-old beliefs), the actress decided to keep it a secret.

When the media contacted Sonija for clarifications on the matter, the actress did not deny the news.
"I can only say, 'you know that three months rule'."
Going by Sonijia's reply, it is believed that the actress is pregnant but wants to adhere by the three-month superstition before announcing the good news....READ MORE

Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu and actor Kevin Cheng were the biggest winners on Monday at the 2011 TVB Anniversary Awards, winning three awards each, reported Hong Kong media.
Wu was named Best Actress (for her work in the drama "Curse of the Royal Harem"), won the My Favourite Female TV Character award, and shared the Extraordinary Elegant Male and Female Artistes award with rumoured boyfriend Bosco Wong.
Cheng picked up the Best Actor award (for playing a laid back lawyer in "Ghetto Justice"), My Favourite Male TV Character award as well as the tvb.com Micro blog Popularity Award.
This is the second time Cheng was named Best Actor since his win at the 2006 TVB Anniversary Awards.
"I want to declare that I did not renew my contract [with TVB].
"This award isn't given to me in exchange for a contract renewal!" said Cheng during his acceptance speech, alluding to earlier rumours that claimed he had offered to renew his contract with the broadcaster if he received the award.
Ben Wong and Sharon Chan took home the Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards respectively.
Michael "Laughing Gor" Tse and Fala Chen, hot favourites to win at least one award that evening, both went home empty-handed.
Still, Tse expressed that he was not too concerned about the results during a store opening event the following day.
"I am fine. Instead, it is the fans who are very disappointed.
"Even though I didn't get it this year, there is always next year," said Tse.
